RETURN, REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY
(A) CANCELLATION POLICY
The customer can choose to cancel an order any time before it's dispatched. The order cannot be
canceled once it’s out for delivery. On the receipt of order cancellation request, your order will be cancelled with immediate effect.
The time window for cancellation varies based on different categories and the order cannot be
canceled once the specified time has passed.
In some cases, the customer may not be allowed to cancel the order for free, post the specified
time and a cancellation fee will be charged. The details about the time window mentioned on the
product page or order confirmation page will be considered final.
In case of any cancellation from the seller due to unforeseen circumstances, a full refund will be
initiated for prepaid orders.
Merafilter reserves the right to accept the cancellation of any order. Merafilter also reserves the right
to waive off or modify the time window or cancellation fee from time to time.
In the event customers are found to misuse the return policy by excessively returning,
or cancelling or not accepting the orders placed, Merafilter reserves the right to war and/or suspend
and/or block and/or terminate such customer accounts, as necessary.
(B) REFUND POLICY:
i. Refund Policy:
At Merafilter, we do our best to ensure that you are completely satisfied with our products. And we
are happy to issue a full refund based on the conditions listed below:
ii. Full Refund Possible If:
a. you received a defective item
b. the ordered item(s) is lost or damaged during transit.
c. you have received the product that has crossed the expiry date
It is hereby clarified that in-case return is requested for reasons attributable to the User, We may at our
discretion accept such request subject to levy of a ‘Restocking Fee’ to the User. It may be noted that the
amount shall be refunded to you after adjusting the Re-stocking Fee. We reserve the right to revise the said
Restocking Fee from time to time without any advance notice to the User. It is further clarified We may
accept return request only for those products which are original, unused condition, has not been damaged
or mistreated, has no signs of use, scratches, wear or tear, and is in condition for resale as new.
iii. Please note: Mode of refund may vary depending on circumstances. If the mode of refund is by Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking, please allow 7 to 10 working days for the credit to appear in your account. While we regret any inconvenience caused by this time frame, it is the bank's policy that delays the refund timing, and we have no control over that. If the mode of refund is by wallet, credit should be available within 24 hours
iv. Cash on Delivery: In order to process such refunds for COD orders, the User will be required to send an email to growth@merafilter.com or call us at see above. Thereafter, the User will receive a refund to his/her wallet or User’s bank account. In case if it is to be refunded to User’s bank account, the User will have to provide the bank account details.
v. In those cases, the amount shall be refunded back to the source account of the User. If the User chooses to get the amount into the Wallet, then at the time of deactivation of the User's account, the amount that is unused in his/her wallet account will be transferred back to User’s bank account.
vi. Merafilter shall directly refund to the User’s bank account during situations such as -
a. When excessive price has been charged/collected from the User and amount needs to be refunded;
b. Any other cases where Merafilter has to refund the amount to the User which belongs to the User shall be
refunded to original payment mode.
vii. If the User chooses to get the refund to the wallet during the above-mentioned scenarios , at the time of deactivation of the User’s account, any amount that is unused in the wallet shall be transferred to the User’s Bank account.
a. How to Request a Refund:
viii. To request a refund, simply email us your order details, including the reason why you're requesting a
refund. We take User feedback very seriously and use it to constantly improve our quality of service
(C) RETURN POLICY:
Merafilter returns and exchange policy gives you an option to return or exchange items purchased on Merafilter for any reason within the specified return/exchange period (check product details page for the same) Returns will be picked from the same address where the product is delivered. Feel free to try on a product but all we ask is that the product remains unused and is preserved in its original condition along with the tags and packaging. In case a Seal Tag is received with the item, ensure that it remains attached & intact with the product to avoid any hassles in the event of a return/exchange.
During Pick Up, our delivery agent may do a quality check on the return. For a successful pick up, we will initiate a doorstep refund for the return amount into the refund mode selected at the time of initiating the return request. This doorstep refund may not be applicable for some pin codes in which case refund will be initiated after the product has been received at our warehouse and has passed a quality check. If the picked up product does not pass the quality check, we shall ship it back to you. If you choose to exchange the item for reason of mismatch of size or receipt of a defective item, you will be provided with a replacement of the item, free of cost. However all exchanges are subject to stock availability and subject to your address being serviceable for an exchange. If you choose to exchange an item, our delivery representative will deliver the new item to you and simultaneously pick up the original item from you. Please note that we offer you an option to exchange items purchased by you on Merafilter for same or different sizes of same style or for any other item of the same or different value from Merafilter within the specified exchange period subject to your address being serviceable for an exchange.
